GENEVA, Jan. 11 -- Data Illusion today announced the release of Feedback Server(TM)
2.0, its latest Web-based survey-and-form application that allows enterprises to
learn more about their customers and fully leverage customer feedback by integrating
ongoing customer-supplied data with their existing customer relationship management
(CRM) solutions and data stores.
Many large companies maintain vast CRM databases that ultimately become outdated
as the companies fail to effectively link them to their dynamic online customer
surveys and forms, said Thomas Zumbrunn, Data Illusion's CEO. The disconnect, he
said, between many companies' CRM and survey systems reduces the quality and scope
of their customer-related data and marginalizes the value of strategic online-feedback
tools.
Feedback Server 2.0, however, allows enterprises to create online surveys and forms
that let customers effectively update their CRM profiles once they submit their
responses. Companies, for instance, can use Feedback Server 2.0's panel-and-connector
technology to amass customer-supplied data on specific purchasing decisions that
are then attached to a master CRM system.
"We've worked hard with our partners and customers to create a next-generation feedback-and-survey
application that can help enterprises basically unleash and use all the customer
data stored in their systems," Zumbrunn said. "Really, our application should give
enterprises a new perspective on surveys and forms and how they can work for them."
Enterprise customers can use Feedback Server 2.0 to visually create online surveys
and forms in various languages in minutes and without any programming. The software's
online interface includes Flash-based charts, various survey-analysis tools and
comes in 10 different languages.
The software also ensures customer feedback is reliable and uses security mechanisms
from cookies to complex ballots to prevent multiple submissions.
Feedback Server 2.0 can be integrated with various enterprise database solutions
such as Microsoft's SQL Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Zumbrunn
added that, in 2007, Data Illusion plans to roll out an updated version of Feedback
Server that can integrate with CRM systems from Siebel, Oracle, SAP and SalesForce.com.
Feedback Server 2.0 users must operate in an environment with the following systems
in place: Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/XP Pro; Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, SQL
Express 2005 (free), MSDE (free); and .NET Framework v2.0.
