Feedback Server Installation
How can I order online as a new customer ?
Its very easy to order from our website, the only thing you have to do
is register as member in our member section. Once you are registered you can purchase
the license you need at any time.
What do I get once I paid my order ?
Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email
with installation instructions. The license is supplied as an electronic download
that you simply need to copy to your root installation of Feedback Server.
How long does it take to get the license ?
You will receive the license within a working day after we have received
your
payment. Usually if you pay through credit card licenses are delivered instantly.
What payment methods do you accept ?
We do accept online credit cards, paypal, purchase orders, bank wire and
checks. If you want to pay through purchase orders, bank wire or checks please contact
us with your company details and license you want to purchase, we will send you
right after an invoice with all the payment details.
Is your product license limited to a certain number of surveys,
questions or respondents ?
No all our licenses are unlimited license. You create any number of surveys with
any number of questions and receive any number of respondent answers at no additional
charges.
I have a clustered environement what license do I need ?
In case of a cluster environement we do offer a cluster license.
What do I get with the source license ?
You will get the full C# solution that will run under Visual Studio 2005.
Note that some third party components (eg: rich text box) used in Feedback Server may
not be provided as source code. Please contact us if you want to have the exact
list of these components.
Can I use a single source license in multiple projects ?
No, a source license can only be used in one customized version of the
original source. If you need to branch into different projects you will need to
purchase one source license for each new project.
Can I customize the source or include the source in a commercial
project and resell the resulting binaries ?
No, the resulting binaries or source from the source license
cannot be sold either invidiually or integrated within another project. We
do however offer distribution licenses, please contact us for all the details.
Will I loose all my data when I upgrade to the registered version from
the trial version ?
No, the only thing need is to replace the trial .lic file by the registered lice file you can download from your member section.
I want to setup an online survey service to resell surveys
as a service I am allowed to do it ?
No, we dont allow reselling of services based on our products.
I bought the license, activated it and copied it in the root but the branding
message and connection limit is still there, what should I do ?
In some rare scenarios your web server might have cached the trial license
file. Delete all .lic file available in your directory, sub-directories. Once you
have deleted them hit the survey display page, this will give you a license not
found error. If you dont see this message make sure that you have not any old .lic
file left in a directory. Once you see the error message copy your registered lic
file to your directory and hit back the survey display page.
What level of support do you provide with your products ?
We do offer email support for all our products for customer having an up to date support plan. Answers are given within one working day.
When is your support available for answers ?
Support is available from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 CET (Central
European Time).
Do you offer phone, Skype or Messenger support ?
Phone support is offered as an extra cost service and is not inlcuded in the default
support package, if you're interested in this extra option please contact us. Otherwise
we dont offer any phone, skype or messenger support. Our phone are dedicated for
sales questions only.
I have some specific needs but these are not covered out of
the box in one of your product, is it possible to customize it ?
Yes we do offer customization, just send us your requirements and we will
reply with a quote and availablity of resources.
What are the requirements to install Feedback Server ?
Feedback Server requires a Windows 2000/2003/XP Pro with Internet Information
Services 5.0+ installed, Microsoft .NET 2.0 and a SQL Server 2000/2005, SQL Server
2005 Express (free) or MSDE (free).
I get a Unrecognized attribute 'xmlns' error while starting
Feedback Server, what is wrong ?
Feedback Server runs only under .NET 2.0. You must install and configure
.NET 2.0 on your web server.
